OUR PATTERNS
💻 How does the design tool work?
The design tool lets you design your own knitting pattern by combining various design attributes and adding any yarn. After placing the order, you receive your customized knitting pattern as a PDF on email.
📝 How are the patterns structured?
We focus highly on making understandable knitting patterns with step-by-step instructions. The patterns include video links to the techniques you are going use.
Sweaters, t-shirts and vests are worked top-down. You start by casting on a given number of stitches before you continue according to the construction you chose when making the pattern.
Beanies are worked bottom up. You start by casting on a given number of stitches, work a given set of centimeters and then increase to shape the top of the beanie.
🧶 What is included in a yarn kit?
A yarn kit includes your customized knitting pattern and the yarn you picked from the "yarn kit" section the design tool.
For now, we have a partnership with the Norwegian yarn brand Un-told. More is coming in the future.
Note that yarn is only included when choosing a yarn from the "yarn kit" section. Yarn is not included when you pick one from the "yarn" section or add your own.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
💌 How do I get my pattern?
Shortly after placing your order, you will receive two emails from us.
The first one is an order confirmation from hello@dreamknit.no. Here you can find your order number.
The second email is your knitting pattern from noreply@dreamknit.no. The pattern is attached as a PDF file.
🤨 I have not received my pattern
Sometimes the pattern email arrives in your spam folder.
Occasionally, emails also may fail to be delivered if your email storage is full.
If you have checked both of these conditions and still do not see your pattern, contact us on hello@dreamknit.no.
📦 How much is the shipping?
When ordering a yarn kit (yarn + pattern), your yarn is shipped from Un-told's storage in Norway. Shipping costs will be calculated and added once you enter your address at checkout.
We ship within Norway at a flat rate of 89 NOK for orders under 1000 NOK. Orders over 1000 NOK have free shipping within Norway.
We ship internationally at a flat rate of 210 NOK.
