Materials

Gauge
12 stitches x 17 rows in stockinette stitch per 10 cm, recommended needle size 7.0 mm

Yarn alternatives
Approximately 250 (250) 300 (350) 350 (400) 450 (500) grams of mohair yarn, either thick yarn held singly or thin mohair held quadruple + 50-100 grams for making the longer version

Alternative 1: One strand of thick mohair yarn
- Hipknitshop Fluff (50 g = 100 meters)
- Viking Mohrino (50 g = 100 meters)
- Camilla Pihl Fnugg (50 g = 80 meters)
- Dale Garn Myk Påfugl (50 g = 90 meters)
- Sandnes Garn Børstet Alpakka (50 g = 110 meters)
- Drops Melody (50 g = 140 meters). Note! Recommended needle size 8.0 mm.
- Rauma Tjukk Mohair (50 g = 105 meters)

Alternative 2: Four strands of thin mohair yarn
For thin mohair yarn, you can use most types (they usually have a length of slightly over 200 meters per 25 grams). To knit with four strands held together, you can knit from both ends of two skeins.

You can also replace two of the thin mohair strands with one strand of thin merino (most types that are approximately 200-250 meters per 50 grams will work), knitting with one strand of merino and two strands of mohair.

Colorways
The cardigan pictured is knitted by Anette @stengelstrikk in various leftover yarn, and is the longer version of the cardigan
