Lena writes our guides. Mostly about the bits of a pattern where people put it down and walk away.

She's knitted since she was a kid and joined Dreamknit in 2023, after a master's in economics and administration and a few years marketing other people's brands. Sweaters are her default. Right now it's mostly small things — she had a baby this year.

The rest of her job is the marketing side: campaigns, channels, the emails from us that land in your inbox. In practice that means she reads a lot of messages from knitters, which is where most of the guides come from. Someone's three rows in and not sure the swatch counts. Someone's yarn shop is out of the yarn the pattern asks for. She's been both.
