The sweater you pack for a cabin weekend and end up wearing every day after. The Cabin is an oversized raglan sweater knitting pattern with a mock neck, relaxed sleeves, and a long 2x2 rib that grounds the whole silhouette.
The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down with raglan increases. You begin by casting on stitches for the yoke and working back and forth with increases to shape the neckline opening. The shoulders are joined by the front neck, and the yoke is knitted in the round with raglan increases. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body is worked in the round. The neckline ribbing is worked by picking up stitches along the neckline opening. Finally, the sleeves are worked from the held stitches.
