The garment is worked from the top down, and it is easy to adjust the length of the body and sleeves to fit your body. The garment is seamless. You cast on the back piece and work this back and forth in stockinette stitch, before you pick up and knit stitches for each shoulder. The shoulders are knitted separately with short rows and increases to shape the neckline opening. Then the shoulders are joined for the front piece. Afterwards, the front and back pieces are joined and the body is worked in the round in stockinette stitch and ribbing. The sleeves are worked by picking up and knitting stitches around the armholes, and are shaped with increases and short rows. The neckline ribbing is worked by picking up and knitting stitches.
