The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down with raglan increases. You begin by casting on stitches and working back and forth, shaping the neckline opening with increases. Afterwards, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body is worked back and forth. The button band and neckline ribbing are worked by picking up stitches along the front edges and the cast-on edge, then working a ribbed edge. The sleeves are worked separately at the end.
