The Grayson Sweater is an oversized raglan sweater knitting pattern, worked seamlessly from the top down with 1x1 rib at the neck, cuffs and hem. It's knitted in Filcolana Peruvian Highland Wool, a soft 100% wool with a lovely matte finish, shown here in a very light gray. A sweater you'll reach for again and again.
The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down with raglan increases. You begin by casting on stitches for the yoke and working back and forth with increases to shape the neckline opening. The shoulders are joined by the front neck, and the yoke is knitted in the round with raglan increases. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body is worked in the round. The neckline ribbing is worked by picking up stitches along the neckline opening. Finally, the sleeves are worked from the held stitches.
