Newbie Sweater V-Neck is worked top down. Each step is explained in detail with pictures. First, the back piece is worked (the top of the back). Then stitches are picked up for both shoulders, and the neckline is shaped with increases. The shoulders are joined at the center front to shape the V-neck. The front piece is worked flat, and then the front and back pieces are joined in the round under the armholes. The body is then worked in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up around the armholes, and the sleeves are worked top down in the round.
