All three have the stripes, twisted rib and oversized fit that made Pepper our bestseller, and they're knit the same way from the top down. In the Kids and Junior versions, you choose between a turtleneck and a crew neck, with or without slits.
All three Pepper Sweaters – kids, junior and women's – are worked seamlessly from the top down, and it is easy to adjust the length of the body and sleeves. You cast on the back piece and work this back and forth in stockinette stitch with stripes, before you pick up and knit each shoulder. The shoulders are worked separately with short rows and increases. Then the shoulders are joined for the front piece. Afterwards, the front and back piece are joined and the body is knitted in the round. The neckline ribbing is worked by picking up stitches. The sleeves are worked top-down by picking up stitches around the armhole. The kids and junior sweaters include options to knit both a crew neck and turtle neck, as well as with and without slits in each size.

Bust measurement: Sizes given in age (years) apply to Pepper Sweater Kids (1–2 to 6–7) and Junior (7–8 to 14–16); the letter sizes apply to the adult Pepper Sweater. Measure at the widest point of the chest, and choose the larger size if in between two sizes.
Bust circumference: Finished garment. The Pepper Sweaters are extra oversized – the adult sizes are knitted with 25–40 cm positive ease, depending on the size.
Length: Measured mid-back, excluding the neckline ribbing (adult sizes include the slit).
