Ynes Sweater

$13.00

Ynes Sweater is named after Ynes Mexía, who took up botany in her fifties and spent years collecting plants in the mountains and forests of the Andes, from Peru and Ecuador to Bolivia, Argentina and Chile.

Fittingly, it's knitted in Drops Andes, a soft blend of wool and alpaca worked on 9 mm needles, so it works up fast. In this raglan sweater knitting pattern, two raglan stitches draw clean lines from the mock neck down to the underarms, the sleeves are relaxed, and long twisted rib at the hem, cuffs and neck gives the light gray sweater a crisp, defined finish.
